1. Mathematical & Theoretical Baselines

The calculators, converters, and estimators hosted on TechTools (https://techtools-chi.vercel.app) produce numerical approximations derived from documented mathematical models, international standards (RFC, IEEE, ISO), and published engineering datasheets.

2. Real-World Variables and Tolerances

In physical hardware installations, data center deployments, or electrical configurations, real-world factors can significantly alter actual outcomes:

  • Ambient temperatures: Thermal throttling and component heat dissipation vary with enclosure airflow and cooling setups.
  • Silicon lottery & power delivery: Power draw estimates (TDP vs. TGP) do not account for transient power spikes, component aging, or custom overclocking.
  • Network conditions: Subnetting throughput models reflect theoretical network capacity, not packet loss, jitter, or router buffer bloat.

3. Verification Responsibility

Calculations are provided for planning, screening, and educational convenience. You should always verify final hardware sizing, circuit loads, and mission-critical network topologies against manufacturer datasheets, certified test benches, or qualified professional advice.
